A couple have given a birth to a baby boy with 31 fingers and toes at China’s central Hunan Province. However, the child’s family says that there was no indication of such disorder during the pregn@ncy test . The parents are attempting to raise enough money to enable their son to undergo life-changing $ur*gery.
The 3-month-old baby boy with name Hong Hong got 15 fingers are 16 toes.Amazing thing is, his both hand got two palms.
Doctors of local hospital of Hunan Province have told that the $urgery is very expensive as well as difficult to appropriate treatment. After this statement from doctors, the couple desperately trying to raise the money required for the operation – estimated at between 100,000 and 500,000 RMB (£10,600 to £53,000).
Doctors states that Hong Hong have suffered from rare disease Polydactyly. It is a medical condition,which led the newborn infants with extra fingers.Doctors also says that this occurs only 1 out of 1000 persons. And adds that a child born with this many number of fingers and toes is first time.
It is reported that Hong Hong’s mother have also suffered from this defects and has one extra finger and toe on each of her hands and feet. The couple were worried that their child would inherit the condition. They stated that there were no such defects during examinations and test.
